The “Ugly face” of the ECI: Arrest of Hari Prasad for “sting demonstration”

Election Commission of India. It is the safety valve of the largest democracy machine in the world. The recent arrest of a scientist exposing the weakness of electronic voting machines was arrested for not revealing the source from where he had acquired the machine to test. The fear of few officials because theycould lose their job might eventually destroy a Democracy at its roots.
